The Indiana Fever have been relatively healthy this season so far, especially compared to their injury-marred 2025 campaign.

Caitlin Clark has missed three games this season due to a back injury, which includes the Fever’s last two contests. However, the issue is not considered serious, and the three-time All-Star is expected to return to the lineup soon.

Last season, Clark dealt with multiple soft tissue injuries. She played in just 13 games before being shut down for the rest of the year. In 2026, the former WNBA Rookie of the Year has already made 17 appearances for her team, and counting.

Unfortunately for Indiana, there is now some cause for concern for star center-forward Aliyah Boston.

Boston has missed just one game this season thus far. However, she is now in danger of sitting out again on Wednesday when the Fever take on the Los Angeles Sparks in a road game at Crypto.com Arena.

The Fever announced their injury report against the Sparks, and Clark and Boston are the only two players on the list. The good news is that Clark is probable to play. Boston, on the other hand, has been listed as questionable to play.

The Fever have not provided the full details of Boston’s injury. However, she looked fine in their last game. The 6-foot-5 center-forward helped lead Indiana to an 84-68 win over the Las Vegas Aces, dropping an 18-point, 10-rebound double-double.

Boston reportedly went through the portion of practice open to the media on Tuesday. This could bode well for her final status against L.A. However, the fact that the Fever play again on Thursday against the Phoenix Mercury could affect Boston’s availability on the front end of the back-to-back.

The silver lining is that Clark should be back on the court. She previously announced her goal of returning for the back-to-back, and it appears the plan is on track.
