Adorable Trailer for ‘Wild Inside’ Doc Following NYC’s Flaco the Owl

“He’s wild… but he lived with people all his life. We’ve never seen anything like this… ever.” Sandbox Films has unveiled their official trailer for a documentary film titled Wild Inside, which is now playing in select US theaters as of this past weekend. This is the true story of NYC’s Flaco the Owl! What a wonderful film about nature and animals and how they can survive in harmony with humans. Back in February 2023, Flaco — a male Eurasian Eagle-Owl, the largest species of owl in the world — was discovered missing from his cage at the Central Park Zoo in Manhattan, NYC. What follows when Flaco, who had lived his entire life in captivity, was released in New York City is a surprising story revealing the delight, concern, and fascination of millions in the city and beyond. He’d lived in the zoo for 13 years since being a fledgling before gaining fame through his wild adventures around the city. There’s so much incredible footage in this!
