The Indiana Fever have dealt with different injuries to their key players this season. The good news is they have been able to overcome them and have turned things around after starting the campaign with a 5-5 record.
Two of their three-headed monster, Caitlin Clark and Aliyah Boston, continue to play through back and leg issues, respectively. The All-Star duo receive probable designations but have ultimately been consistently seeing action. Indiana snapped its two-game skid on Saturday with a 90-86 win over the Chicago Sky.
The team returns to action on Tuesday when it hosts the New York Liberty at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. It’s the first of a two-game homestand as the Fever will also face the Dallas Wings in front of their fans three days later.

As expected, Clark is once again on the latest injury report with a probable tag. The team expects her to be available but Damiris Dantas remains out. However, Grace Vanslooten is surprisingly included in Monday’s release due to an illness.
Status Report for tomorrow’s game vs. New York:

Grace VanSlooten – Questionable (illness)

The rookie forward has appeared in 15 games, averaging just 2.9 minutes. While she rarely sees action during games, she is a significant part of practices and cheers on her teammates on the bench. Vanslooten started the season with the Seattle Storm after they drafted her at No. 39 overall in the third round. They eventually released her and the Fever signed her to an end-of-year contract on May 22.
Indiana will likely stick to its usual rotation as the Liberty game projects to be tightly contested. The injury report does not include Boston, which gives a positive update for the home team. She no longer deals with her knee ailment and may play in all of Indiana’s remaining games. However, the coaching staff could monitor the 24-year-old’s minutes closely to keep her fresh for the playoffs.
