Chicago Bears wide receiver Luther Burden III

Luther Burden sustained a groin injury on Aug. 8. The Chicago Bears faced several setbacks during training camp, causing a stir among their fans. Many felt saddened about it, while others expressed optimism that he will return to action soon.

Analysts expect the wide receiver to play a bigger role in the upcoming season. With D.J. Moore now with the Buffalo Bills, Rome Odunze and Burden headline Chicago’s WR corps. The second-year wideout enjoyed a solid rookie season, recording 47 receptions for 652 yards and two touchdowns in 15 regular-season games, including five starts. He added six rushing attempts for 37 yards and also featured in special teams as a kick returner.
