US President Donald Trump on Thursday signed an executive order to update the name of Lake Ontario to “Lake America” in the country’s geographic naming service. Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney pushed back, citing the name’s Indigenous origins, as the row between the neighbors roiled on.
