Simone Biles was in attendance on Friday at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. She watched the Indiana Fever take on the Connecticut Sun at the packed venue. The hosts posted her photo on Instagram and garnered a lot of fan reactions.
Indiana won its second consecutive game 111-91. The victory improved the team’s record to 26-14 with four games left on the schedule. Caitlin Clark and Kelsey Mitchell were unstoppable, combining for 68 points, eight rebounds, 16 assists and 10 three-pointers. Aliyah Boston and Makayla Timpson backed them with 14 and 10 points, respectively.
Diamond Miller spearheaded Connecticut’s attack with 19 points, three rebound and two assists. Nell Angloma contributed 17 points, seven rebounds and four assists in the losing effort. The Sun suffered their fourth defeat in their last five outings.

Biles sat courtside wearing a black oversized hoodie featuring white block text across the chest that reads “WNBA ESSENTIALS.” She paired it with high-heeled, knee-high black leather boots. The legendary gymnast completed her look with white top-handle handbag resting on her lap, small hoop earrings, rings and wire-rim glasses.
Fans dropped their reactions in the comments section, mostly mentioning her status in the sports world.

The Fever are battling for a top three seed with the Las Vegas Aces and Atlanta Dream. They have three weeks off as the league enters its FIBA World Cup break, giving them a lot of time for practices. Finishing the regular season strong is important not only for seeding, but also to give them more momentum for the playoffs. Indiana’s next game is set for Sept. 18 when it visits the Toronto Tempo at Coca-Cola Coliseum.
