Angel Reese had 3 words for Paige Bueckers

Angel Reese and Paige Bueckers are in Berlin for the FIBA World Cup. They are part of Team USA, which is aiming to win its fifth consecutive world championship. The Dallas Wings guard posted a carousel of photos on Instagram, showing herself in the team’s uniform, and the Atlanta Dream forward dropped a three-word comment.

Reese is amid her best season in the WNBA. She has set three league records, owning the most rebounds in a game and season, while also recording the most double-doubles in a single campaign. The three-time All-Star is averaging 16.1 points, 12.4 rebounds and 2.8 assists through 39 games this year.

Bueckers, on the other hand, has led the Wings in securing their first playoff berth since 2023. She has showcased her ability to score in multiple ways, along with her elite court vision.

Bueckers uploaded nine pictures, including a selfie each with Reese, Chelsea Gray and Rhyne Howard. Other snaps featured her flaunting the Team USA threads along with photos from practices.

“An honor to be PB4 Thank you God & thank you @usabasketball,” Bueckers wrote.

Reese expressed her admiration for Bueckers in the comments section.

“i love pb4,” Reese commented.

The LSU product and Atlanta will play their next game on Sept. 17 versus the Connecticut Sun. Another home game follows when they take on the Chicago Sky at State Farm Arena two days later. The Dream will wrap up their regular season with back-to-back games against the New York Liberty at Baclays Center. They are 26-14 for the season and continue to battle with the Las Vegas Aces and Indiana Fever for third place.

Meanwhile, Bueckers and Dallas are currently eighth in the standings. They are tied in the win-loss column with the Washington Mystics and Liberty, making their last four games must-wins to finish with a higher seed.
