Colston Loveland and the Chicago Bears are all set to face the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday. They are coming off a strong season-opener, defeating the Carolina Panthers 59-37 at Bank of America Stadium. An announcement was made on Saturday related to the second-year tight end’s performance in Week 2.

While the Bears fired on all cylinders against the Panthers, Loveland failed to record a catch on two targets. Kalif Raymond led the receiving corps with eight catches for 84 yards, while Luther Burden added five receptions for 63 yards. Star quarterback Caleb Williams shined by completing 21-of-29 passes for 269 yards and two touchdowns. He added 10 rushing attempts for 65 yards and two more scores.

D’Andre Swift registered three touchdowns and finished with 18 rushes for 124 yards. Kyle Monangai and Cole Kmet were the other two touchdown scorers.

Chicago Bears: A Colston Loveland offer was posted on social media

Loveland has a chance to bounce back strong in the home opener versus the Vikings. He can also endear himself even more to Chicago fans if he scores at least two touchdowns. The Wieners circle announced on X that it will give hotdogs to fans for free if he achieves it on Sunday.

“If Colston Loveland scores 2 TDs tomorrow, then get in line tuesday and land your love on another free 🌭 Chicago,” The Wieners Circle wrote.

Loveland established himself last season as a rising star in the NFL. He amassed 58 receptions for 713 yards and six touchdowns. The 22-year-old’s emergence paved the way for him to participate in more snaps as the campaign progressed. His disappointing Week 1 may have worried some fans, but he can get back on track immediately in Week 2.

Sunday’s game is the first of a three-game homestand for Chicago. The team will host the Philadelphia Eagles and New York Jets in Weeks 3 and 4, followed by a visit to Lambeau Field the following week to take on the Green Bay Packers.
