Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark

It’s no secret that Caitlin Clark is a big Kansas City Chiefs fan. The Indiana Fever superstar has watched several of the NFL team’s games live at Arrowhead Stadium. She is also good friends with Travis Kelce and his wife, Taylor Swift. The veteran tight end dropped a message under Clark’s Instagram post.

Clark is fresh off a gold medal win with Team USA at the FIBA World Cup in Berlin. She also successfully returned to the Fever, winning their first game after the World Cup break on Friday. They defeated the Toronto Tempo 103-85 at Coca-Cola Coliseum to extend their winning streak to three games.

Clark finished with 28 points, six rebounds and 14 assists. She also recorded her 10th game this season with 25-plus points and 10-plus assists, which is the most in the WNBA history. The three-time All-Star has a chance to add more such outings with two games left and the league now having a 44-game campaign.

Indiana Fever: Travis Kelce reacts to Caitlin Clark’s Instagram post

The 24-year-old posted behind the scenes photos and videos from her recently commercial shoot. The snaps showed her on set and featuring some colorways of her upcoming first signature shoes, the Nike Caitlin 1s. Kelce dropped a two-word reaction in the comments section.

Clark teased a new silhouette of her shoes on her Instagram story. The pair is in a bright red and yellow scheme, inspired by the Chiefs’ colors.

The Nike Caitlin 1s will be released on Oct. 1 and are expected to be sold-out immediately. Fans have been talking about them since Clark debuted the Racer Blue colorway in June. Several silhouettes will also be available, giving fans more to choose from.

Clark and the Fever will return to action on Sunday against the Washington Mystics. It’ the first of their two-game homestand before playing their final regular-season game on Thursday versus the Minnesota Lynx at Target Center.
