Africa joins the data center backlash

In tonight’s edition, witnesses say Eritrean troops have moved into Ethiopia’s Tigray region, but Asmara rejects the reports. Also, the African Union launches the Africa Credit Rating Agency, aiming to assess the financial health of African states and companies. And South African civil society is pushing back against the expansion of data centres  that require vast amounts of electricity, water and land.
