“That wasn’t very lady-like.” “But it was funny!” After causing a stir with their announcement last week, Angel Studios has unveiled one final official trailer for their next major movie Hershey – a retelling of the origin story of the famous Hershey chocolate brand based in Pennsylvania. Out in theaters at Thanksgiving this month. The religious studio says no cursing, no sex in all of their movies – but this one is more of a pro-America, pro-capitalism tale of a this chocolate company’s roots before they became a staple in America. It all began in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in as a candy shop in 1873, evolved into a caramel company in 1883, with Hershey Chocolate as its subsidiary. The very first Hershey’s Milk Chocolate bar was created in 1900. The film depicts this history of The Hershey Co, built by its founder Milton & his wife Kitty, and how their vision changed the world. A film by Mark Waters, the cast features Finn Wittrock as Milton S. Hershey, Alexandra Daddario as Catherine “Kitty” Hershey, with Alan Ruck, Richard Kind, David Costabile, Heléne Yorke. This is really the most amusing and delightful trailer yet (better than the last one), focusing on the humor, delight, and charm of these candymakers. You’ll definitely want to eat chocolate watching it. // Continue Reading ›
