Diablo IV Anniversary Event – when it starts, events and rewards

Sitting down to write this, the first thing to come to my head is ‘how on earth has it been three years already? It’s that alternate timeline thing again. Having been heavily involved in the Diablo IV beta, this means it’s nearer to four years since I stepped back into Sanctuary, and that, my friends, is madness.
To celebrate surviving at the hands of the Lord of Hatred for so long, Blizzard is running a tasty little Anniversary Event that will give away some cool cosmetics for free. In truth, there is nothing that amazing there, but there are also some XP boosts on offer during the event as well.
When is the Diablo IV 3rd Anniversary event?
The event starts on June 1st, and there will be activities until June 9th. The first part to begin is the five days of free gifts, which you can read more about below.
On June 2, Mother’s Blessing will kick in, granting you “increased multiplicative XP” in both Seasonal and Eternal Realms.
March of the Goblins will also allow you to go on a Treasure Goblin Hunt, and completing the final rank of the Event Reputation Board will earn you the Regalia of the Sacred Creed.

Diablo IV Anniversary Event gifts and rewards
On June 1, at 12:00 p.m. PDT, a new gift arrives in the in-game shop each day until June 6. You have until June 9 to claim all of these fearsome weapon skins for demonic dismemberment.
The following gifts will unlock in the in-game Shop:
- Day 1 – Blood Raven’s Talon (One-handed Sword cosmetic)
- Day 2 – King Kanai’s Last Stand (Shield cosmetic)
- Day 3 – Nangari Wounder (Dagger cosmetic)
- Day 4 – Overlord’s Odium (Two-handed Axe)
- Day 5 – Flamefinger’s Claws (Glaive cosmetic)
