Angel Reese and Caitin Clark own one of the most heated on-court rivalries in the WNBA today. These two have been going at it since their college days, and their personal rivalry has carried over into the pros now that they’ve established themselves as superstars in the WNBA.
On Wednesday, Clark announced some big news. After so much anticipation, the Indiana Fever star finally announced the release date of her Nike signature shoe, the Caitlin Clark 1. Fans have already marked their calendars for the Oct. 1 drop.
Reese also has her own signature shoe with Reebok. The Atlanta Dream All-Star’s shoe was first released in September last year. Since then, Reebok has dropped multiple colorways of the Angel Reese 1.

On Thursday, Reebok announced an upcoming drop of the latest Angel Reese 1 colorway. Named the “Poison Angel,” the new electric lime-green colorway will hit shelves on June 25.
Reese also shared the announcement via her Instagram stories, further adding to the hype.
Reese debuted the “Poison Angel” on Thursday night as she faced off against Clark on the basketball court. The Dream secured a big win on the road, taking down the Fever at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, 108-101.
Reese turned in another strong performance for Atlanta, securing a 21-point, 11-rebound double-double in 29 minutes of action. Clark did all she could for her team, but her 26 points and seven assists were not enough to keep Indiana’s winning streak alive.
Reese and Co. handed the Fever their first loss in five games. The Dream improved to 10-4 after marking their second straight win. The Fever, on the other hand, dropped to 9-6.
These two sides go at it again on Saturday in a rematch. This time around, Atlanta will host Indiana at State Farm Arena, with tipoff scheduled for 1:00 p.m. ET.
