Angel Reese’s first post after beating Caitlin Clark, Fever twice in 3 days

Angel Reese has turned the tide in her personal rivalry against Caitlin Clark. This is after Reese helped lead the Atlanta Dream to a 113-96 win over the Indiana Fever on Saturday. Reese and Co. have now logged back-to-back wins against Clark and the Fever following Atlanta’s 108-101 victory at Gainbridge Fieldhouse on Thursday.

At this point, it is clear that it’s Reese who holds the advantage over Clark. The Fever defeated the Dream on June 4, 83-71, but Reese got her revenge by securing two straight wins against her rival.

Reese was instrumental in Saturday’s win, registering 18 points on 7-of-14 shooting, eight rebounds, one assist, a couple of steals and one block.

Clark did all she could for the Fever, leading all scorers with 26 points on 11-of-18 from the field. The former WNBA Rookie of the Year also added three rebounds, seven assists, a steal and three triples. However, Clark also turned the ball over seven times.

Angel Reese flexes win over Caitlin Clark, Fever

Reese wasted no time flexing Atlanta’s victory on social media. In her first X post after the win, the two-time WNBA All-Star made sure to let everybody know about the Dream’s convincing victory.

This type of post has become a constant after each win for Reese. However, there’s no denying that this one holds extra weight after they beat Clark and the Fever twice in three days.

The Dream, now 11-4, get a day off before their next game. Reese and Co. will return to action on Monday for another home game against the Toronto Tempo.

Clark and the Fever, on the other hand, will look to snap their two-game losing skid on Monday against the Phoenix Mercury.
