Caleb Williams had an impressive 2025 season for the Chicago Bears.
After being selected first overall in the 2024 NFL Draft, the expectations for the quarterback were very high. However, the Bears finished with a 5-12 record during his rookie year.
Williams’ second year, however, was much different for the young QB. The 2022 Heisman Trophy winner broke the Bears’ record for the most passing yards in a single season with 3,942. He finished with 330 completions for 27 touchdowns.
Chicago won the NFC North title after finishing with an 11-6 record, their best record since the 2018 season. Williams was also a big factor in the victory over their longtime rivals, the Green Bay Packers, in the Wild Card Round.

While expectations are high for the incoming third-year quarterback, fantasy football is just a different game altogether.
Williams and the Bears are expected to be a serious contender for the Super Bowl this season. The young quarterback is even considered a frontrunner to win the 2026 NFL MVP Award.
However, ESPN NFL Analyst Mike Clay ranked the Chicago QB 15th on his list of fantasy football quarterback projections.
This development has left more than a few Bears fans in disbelief.
“Caleb 15
” said a supporter.
“Caleb 15 is crazy,” added another.
“Dude, Caleb is gonna be higher than effing 15,” a user commented.
“Williams at 15 is disrespectful,” declared a viewer.
“Caleb at 15? Is this The Onion? Ridiculous,” mentioned a post.
“What a joke to have Caleb 15,” a fan exclaimed.
While fantasy rankings are really an entirely different aspect of the game, placing 15th on any list is tough to see.
Nevertheless, Williams and the Bears will remain focused on the more important goal — winning the Super Bowl.
