The Chicago Bulls have two rookies from the first round to develop during the summer league with No. 4 pick Caleb Wilson and No. 15 pick Dailyn Swain.

The Bulls will play a total of five games at the locations of Thomas & Mack Center and Cox Pavilion on the campus of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

All eyes will be on Wilson, who had a stellar season with North Carolina before suffering a hand injury in February that ended his season.

Per K.C. Johnson of CHSN, Wilson had a four-word response for what his goal was with the Bulls this summer.

“Win. It’s that simple,” he said.

New Bulls head coach Tiago Splitter told reporters he plans to coach two summer league games. He wants to set the tone for Wilson and Swain.

“I want to set the tone, especially having guys like Caleb and Dailyn,” Splitter said. “They’re going to be important for this organization.”

It will be a pivotal summer for Chicago’s first-round pick from last year, Noa Essengue. Essengue suffered a season-ending shoulder injury in December but said he feels “amazing” in July. He isn’t sure how many games he’ll play for the Bulls this summer.

The Bulls have an intriguing schedule for the summer league. They’ll open against the No. 3 pick Cameron Boozer and the Memphis Grizzlies on Friday. On July 13, the Bulls will play No. 2 pick Darryn Peterson and the Utah Jazz before turning around quickly playing the No. 1 overall pick AJ Dybantsa and the Washington Wizards on July 14.

Chicago’s final contest will be against the Los Angeles Lakers on July 16.

Those five games will be pivotal for Wilson and Swain. Wilson comes into the league needing a little more polish than the first three picks in the 2026 NBA Draft, though there is hope that his ceiling could make him the best player of the class.
