Chicago Bears safety Dillon Thieneman’s sister Kiera is already becoming a favorite in the Windy City.
The 21-year-old Purdue University student announced herself to the football world at the 2026 NFL Draft. ABC cameras found her standing in a red dress, beaming from ear to ear as Chicago called her brother’s name at No. 25 overall.
She turned heads once more this Independence Day weekend. Kiera stunned in a red bikini poolside surrounded by friends.
“Uncle Sam’s Favorite
,” she captioned her Instagram post.
Her brother is generating just as much buzz on the field. Many considered Thieneman the steal of the draft.
Chicago took him 25th overall, the first safety selected by the Bears in the first round since Mark Carrier in 1990. Carrier went on to win Defensive Rookie of the Year that season.
Thieneman’s resume entering the NFL is difficult to ignore. The product of Purdue and Oregon appeared in 39 games over three college seasons. He racked up 306 tackles, eight interceptions, 14 pass breakups, 10.0 tackles for loss. He also added 2.0 sacks and two forced fumbles.
Thieneman then ran a 4.35-second 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine, besting most wide receivers in the class.
The 21-year-old steps in as a Day 1 starter. He has the added benefit of learning alongside Super Bowl champion Coby Bryant. The former Seattle Seahawk inked a three-year, $40 million deal with Chicago this offseason.
The pair inherits a secondary that lost veteran safety Kevin Byard, who departed for the New England Patriots. The Bears are counting on Bryant and Thieneman to fill that void together.
As Dillon takes Chicago by storm, Kiera figures to be right there with him. Expect her to be one of the louder voices in Dillon’s corner as the Bears chase another NFC North title.
