Photograph linking SA’s Zuma with fugitive Indian businessman sparks outrage

A photograph linking a senior South African diplomat with former president Jacob Zuma and controversial businessman Ajay Gupta has sparked political scrutiny. International Relations Minister Ronald Lamola has ordered an internal report into High Commissioner to India Anil Sooklal after the image emerged last week. The Gupta family became synonymous with South Africa’s “State Capture” scandal under Zuma’s presidency.
