Despite missing 35 games with a hamstring strain, Murakami still has the 14th most home runs in the MLB, with 20.
With the southsiders in a rough patch, this is the perfect time for Murakami to be back in the clubhouse.
It’s obvious that the team could use his power in the bat as the team has only scored three runs in their last three games. Hopefully, Mune can bring the team the spark it needs at the halfway point of the season.
