Chicago Sky forward Maddy Westbeld

It’s been a challenging season for the Chicago Sky. They are 7-14 and have lost eight of their last 11 games. However, some of their players still draw attention on and off the court, including Maddy Westbeld.

A photo of her with Jacy Sheldon, Gabriela Jaquez, Sydney Taylor and DiJonai Carrington has been making its rounds on social media. However, the second-year power forward stood out.

The photo showed them on what appeared to be a boat or yacht, all wearing their swimsuits. Westbeld sat between Taylor and Carrington in a solid black two-piece bikini featuring a classic triangle-style top and matching low-rise bottoms.

It was a sunny day, with the Chicago skyline serving as the perfect backdrop.

Westbeld entered the WNBA as the No. 16 pick in 2025 out of Notre Dame. She played in 26 games in her rookie season, averaging 4.1 points and 2.4 rebounds. The Sky waived the 24-year-old on May 4 but signed her to a development contract three days later.

She has only played twice this year and is eligible to play up to 12 games. It remains to be seen if Chicago will give her more run later in the season. However, with the team struggling, it could turn to younger players, including Westbeld, before the campaign ends.

The Sky’s next game is on Friday against the Los Angeles Sparks, with a chance to make it two consecutive wins.
