Bears fans react strongly to NFC North ‘disrespect’

The Chicago Bears proved their doubters wrong with a strong 2025 season. They won the NFC North with an 11-6 record and reached the Divisional Round. However, they face the league’s toughest schedule and a stacked division, making it harder to finish on top again.

It’s a tall order but not impossible to achieve. Caleb Williams is raring to go and show the NFL world that last year’s run is not a fluke. He has his sights set on surpassing his numbers from last season. The quarterback completed 330-of-568 passes for 27 touchdowns and seven interceptions. Chicago’s front office made some key moves this offseason to surround him with more talent.

Chicago Bears fans are not happy with ESPN Analytics

The Bears are unlikely to repeat as NFC North champions and only have a 19% chance, according to ESPN Analytics. Bearsszn shared the news on Instagram on Monday, and the team’s fans expressed their unhappiness. They shared their thoughts in the comments section, with many thinking that Williams and Co. are being disrespected.

The Detroit Lions and the Green Bay Packers are projected as the favorites to win the division with 38% and 33% chances, respectively.

“Thats what they said last year,” one fan wrote.

“They were saying this last year look what happened 😂,” a comment read.

“Good…give us the hate, the doubt, the adversity. Just fuels our Good, Better, Best Team!” one user said.

“The same disrespect year in and year out. Let’s go though, 🐻⬇,” posted another.

“They counted us out last season too,” a reaction read.

“It’s cause we have the hardest schedule this year. No problem we’ll prove everyone wrong again,” another fan commented.

Chicago has a chance to silence the critics again. The team can also use the low percentage as extra motivation to turn the doubters into believers. It all starts in Week 1 when the Bears visit the Carolina Panthers on Sept. 13.
