Sophie Cunningham’s on and off the court activities have been a must-see. Many continue to have their eyes focused on her being a fan favorite and playing for the most popular team in the WNBA, the Indiana Fever.

In January 2025, she arrived in Indianapolis via a trade from the Phoenix Mercury. Cunningham quickly established herself as the team’s enforcer but still showed off her soft side, particularly on social media. Her hustle and defense, along with the ability to score in different ways, have made her a big part of the Fever’s rotation.

The 6-foot-1 guard began the season as a starter. However, Indiana head coach Stephanie White replaced her with Lexie Hull. The decision was made to boost the team’s bench scoring, which is one of its weak points.

Cunningham once again turned heads with her pregame outfit on Friday. Her posted clip on X leaving the hotel once again turned heads. She wore a fitted short-sleeved white T-shirt paired with off-white shorts layered underneath textured cream feathered chaps. The 29-year-old completed her look with oval tinted sunglasses and white sneakers.

“I love Sophie Geddy Up 🐎🐎🐎 My love 😘,” one fan wrote.

“Outfit perfect 👌,” a reaction read.

“Not a fan of the outfit,” one user said.

“Girl, it is July. Put the fur away for a few months,” posted another.

“Honestly not a good look 👀,” a comment read.

“lol love it,” another fan commented.

Indiana is looking to win its fifth straight game and improve to 19-10 for the season. Cunningham will once again be relied upon for her production off the bench. She is averaging 9.4 points, 2.4 rebounds and 1.3 assists. However, she contributes beyond what the stat sheets show, providing the Fever with tenacity and grit night in and night out. Teams around the league are expected to show interest in her ahead of Sunday’s trade deadline.
