The Chicago Bears are hoping to improve upon their 11-6 record from a year ago. They won the NFC North for the first time since 2018 and advanced all the way to the divisional round of the NFL Playoffs. This year, they want to be even better.
Of course, these are the goals of every NFL team. In order to even have a chance of coming close to last year’s success, the Bears need to get their players to the start of the regular season healthy.
Unfortunately, that is sometimes easier said than done.

Safety Coby Bryant, who was signed to a big deal this off-season, was reported to be out for 8-10 weeks due to an injury suffered in practice earlier this week. Fortunately, another reporter that was present at practice says that the initial belief is that Jones did not suffer a long-term injury:

Jones was limited to just six games last year due to injuries. In fact, he has only been healthy for a whole year once in his NFL career, and that was in his rookie season.
The Bears are hopeful that he can compete for and win the starting left tackle job, and hold onto it by staying on the field for a full 17 games.
Hopefully he bounces back from this injury quickly.
