Down the Arm of God Trailer

“I’m doing something so these people do not die!” EuropaCorp has revealed the first official trailer for the indie film titled Down the Arm of God, made by filmmaker Peter Brunner in collaboration with the actor Caleb Landry Jones. This is also produced by Luc Besson, which is why it’s a EuropaCorp production, after they worked together making DogMan & Dracula. Inspired by true events, Down the Arm of God follows a young pastor through a harsh winter in a small Texas town where his mission to help the homeless is faced with resistance by his congregation, exposing deep-seated prejudices and systemic failures. Jones & Brunner have been developing this project for 5 years (more here), trying to tell a different story about the homeless (aka the unhoused) and how we should treat them better. Caleb Landry Jones stars with India Marie Cross, Nick Stahl, Mena Suvari, and John Jones. This just premiered at the Locarno Film Festival and has no release confirmed yet – but you can clearly see why America is afraid of releasing it. Really makes all these conservatives look like they don’t understand the message of their own religion! Go figure. Get a look. // Continue Reading ›
