Caitlin Clark reacts to ‘personal’ photos on social media

Caitlin Clark showed her appreciation with her recent photos posted by an Indiana-based photographer.

Clark has been balling out for the Fever this season, and photographer Bri Lewerke captured several close-up snaps of her. Lewerke published a 16-photo carousel on her Instagram account, where she showcased an up-close photo of the Indiana guard.

“Close up with @caitlinclark22 Shot for @brwsports,” Lwewerke captioned.

The 2024 WNBA Rookie of the Year couldn’t help but appreciate how intimate these candid photos were, as she left a comment on the post.

“Ooooo up close and personal respect,” Clark’s comment read.

Heading into Friday’s game against the Dallas Wings, Clark is averaging 21.7 points, 3.9 rebounds, 8.2 assists and 1.0 steals in 29 games this season to help Indiana win 21 of their 33 games this season.

These numbers also allowed Clark to earn her third WNBA All-Star selection in Chicago. Furthermore, the Fever’s primary playmaker is a top contender to win the league’s MVP award. Other frontrunners include A’ja Wilson, Olivia Miles, Paige Bueckers and Breanna Stewart.

Caitlin Clark reached a new career milestone against Liberty

The former Iowa superstar continues to notch career milestones in just her third WNBA season. On Tuesday, Clark recorded her 29th career double-double against New York.

She finished the game with 22 points and 10 assists, to go along with four rebounds and a steal to power Indiana to a 106-92 victory.

With this latest accomplishment, she has surpassed WNBA legend Sue Bird for the most double-doubles by a guard in WNBA history and placed her third in the category.

Clark and the Fever are looking to continue their momentum in the latter stages of the regular season to secure the best possible position in the standings heading into the postseason. As of this writing, Indiana is in action against the Wings in a home game at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
