“Who am I? I was an Avenger. But I’m not a hero anymore. I have his face, but not his virtue. All I have is his name.” Disney revealed the official trailer for the next MCU spin-off series VisionQuest, a continuation of the acclaimed Marvel series WandaVision from a few years ago. This first trailer was unveiled during the Marvel presentation at Disney’s D23 event this weekend. This specific series follows vibranium android The Vision, played by Paul Bettany, trying to regain his memory and humanity. He’s now in hiding, but when a bounty is placed on his head, Vision is forced to forge real connections and embrace found family if he’s to survive. The series cast includes Bettany as Vision, James Spader as Ultron, Todd Stashwick as Paladin, Ruaridh Mollica as Tommy Maximoff, T’Nia Miller as Jocasta, plus a new cast of AI characters: Emily Hampshire as E.D.I.T.H., Orla Brady as F.R.I.D.A.Y., Henry Lewis as D.U.M.-E, Jonathan Sayer as U, and of course James D’Arcy as J.A.R.V.I.S. This actually looks pretty cool, a series about robots and AI and, well, his family? I just hope they pull off all the complex digital intermingling. Welcome home, Vision. // Continue Reading ›
