Heatwaves damage Monet’s gardens in the North of France

The succession of heatwaves in France this year has played havoc with plants and husbandry, including in Claude Monet’s celebrated home and gardens at Giverny, in Normandy. Some of the garden’s most famous attractions have been damaged by the heat, as our colleagues at France 2 and Oliver Farry explain.
