Caitlin Clark is playing at an MVP level this season. She is leading the league in assists and ranking third in scoring. The Indiana Fever superstar also continues to play a significant role for her team, helping make it possible to achieve a 23-12 record after starting 5-5. A new development emerged about her strong play.
Clark is averaging 22.0 points, 3.9 rebounds and a league-leading 8.3 assists per game. She has remained mostly healthy this season after being limited to just 30 games last year. The 24-year-old sustained ankle, quad and groin injuries last year but has fully recovered from them. She is dealing with a lingering back issue; however, she continues to play through it.

The Fever posted on X that Clark has been named the WNBA Player of the Week for the fourth time this season. She also passed Las Vegas Aces star A’ja Wilson for the most such honors this year.

Clark led Indiana to a 3-0 record in the past week. The team defeated the New York Liberty, Dallas Wings and Atlanta Dream, and is on a four-game winning streak. The Fever pushed their record to 23-12 and are now sitting in solo fourth place.
The three-time All-Star guard continues to electrify crowds across the country with her elite skill set. She is showing that her game is getting better each game despite defenses giving her their all night in and night out.
Clark and Co. have nine games remaining in their regular-season schedule. They are behind the Aces by just half-a-game and are in a good position to secure a top three seed. Indiana will wrap up its slate with three of its last games at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. The team needs to keep the momentum going and finish strong to be in a more favorable spot in the playoffs.
