US Treasury bars certain journalists from G20 meeting in North Carolina

The US Treasury Department denied credentials to reporters from The New York Times, Wall Street Journal and Bloomberg for a Group of 20 finance meeting in North Carolina, the latest restriction on media access under President Donald Trump. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said the decision was unrelated to journalists’ viewpoints.
