Bears TE Colston Loveland had just 1 word for Caleb Williams

Several Caleb Williams performances last season left fans and teammates stunned and speechless. He showed off his elite skills et throughout the campaign, leading the Chicago Bears to an NFC North title. The quarterback posted pictures on Instagram on Sunday, just over two weeks before he officially begins his third NFL season. His teammate, Colston Loveland, reacted to it with just one one word.

The Bears wrapped up their preseason slate on Saturday against the Tennessee Titans, winning 24-15. They ended with a 2-1 record following a win over the Cleveland Browns and a loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. Williams only played one game, seeing action in one series. Ben Johnson and the Chicago coaching staff opted to give the backups and rookies more time to prove their worth.

Williams uploaded snaps featuring different moments from this year’s training camp and preseason. He added a simple caption, and Loveland dropped a one-word reaction in the comments section.

“Feeling like 22 me. Years 3,” Williams wrote.

Last season, Williams completed 330-of-568 passes for 3,942 yards, 27 touchdowns and seven interceptions. He added 77 rushing attempts for 388 yards and three scores. While the numbers were impressive, he is hungry for more success and wants to guide Chicago to an even deeper playoff run. The team reached the Divisional Round in 2025 but lost 20-17 to the Los Angeles Rams in overtime.

Williams and the Bears will begin their 2026 regular season on Sept. 13 versus Bryce Young and the Carolina Panthers. Starting the campaign strong is crucial as they have the toughest schedule in the NFL.
