Carrington and the Sky have already been eliminated from playoff contention. They are 15-25 for the season but are aiming to finish strong to build momentum for next year. She played in its inaugural season in 2025 but was not bale to suit up for Mist BC this year due to a foot injury. Ending the WNBA regular season on high note will be huge for Carrington as it will could set her up for a success in the 3-on-3 league. Mist BC is the reigning Unrivaled champions.
Two of Carrington and Chicago’s last three games are on the road, including a pair against playoff-bound teams. The good news is they have nothing to lose and could play the role of spoilers as teams continue to battle for postseason positioning. The Sky’s last game is on Sept. 24 versus the Mystics again.
