Ben Johnson, Bears expected to light fantasy football world on fire

Chicago Bears head coach Ben Johnson has made his desire to lead the NFL’s best offense no secret. Now, the fantasy football world has taken notice.

During the 2025 season, Chicago finished sixth in total offense, averaging 369.2 yards per game. Their rushing attack vaulted up to third, averaging 144.5 YPG.

Now, quarterback Caleb Williams and company have more experience playing in Johnson’s scheme. While there have been changes in the offensive line and wide receiver room, the Bears are confident their offense can compete against any challenger.

If Johnson’s offensive prophecy comes true, numerous players on the Bears can be fantasy football league winners. At least one NFL analyst is expecting Chicago to be a hot spot.

Fantasy football players must target Bears

With the season quickly approach, fantasy football drafts are winding down. But if you’ve yet to make your picks, Jakob Sanderson of the Athletic is encouraging you to look the Bears’ way. As Johnson calls the shots, Sanderson predicts D’Andre Swift, Luther Burden and Colston Loveland will all have break out seasons.

“The Bears are finally the trendy team that lives up to the fantasy community’s hype,” Sanderson wrote. “Ben Johnson and company lead the NFL in scoring and propel RB D’Andre Swift and WR Luther Burden to top-12 finishes at their position, while Colston Loveland finishes as a top-two tight end.”

In 2025, Swift set new career-highs with 1,087 rushing yards and nine touchdowns. Loveland broke onto the scene with 713 yards and six touchdowns. As did Burden, who contributed 47 grabs for 652 yards and two touchdowns. All three players will once again be key components of Chicago’s roaring offense.

The Bears have gone all-in on their offense in 2026, hoping that their explosive approach leads them on a deep playoff run. If Johnson’s plan works out, fantasy football players with Chicago players on their roster should prosper.
