Macklemore dropped from Ed Sheeran US tour after pro-Palestinian remarks

American rapper Macklemore announced on Monday that he was dropped from Ed Sheeran’s US stadium tour after saying “Free Palestine” during a September 4 concert in New Jersey. The Grammy winner’s removal follows pressure from venue owners, including New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft, over his criticism of Israel’s actions in Gaza.
