It’s an exciting time to be a Chicago sports fan. While the Chicago Cubs and White Sox are both in playoff races, the Chicago Bears have kicked off their season. The Bears got the season off to a good start with a huge performance from Caleb Williams and the offense. While he’s doing that, his close friend Pete Crow-Armstrong is wrapping up an MVP season for the Cubs.
The two have developed a close relationship over the past few years which has also included Matas Buzelis , Connor Bedard and now, Caleb Wilson. That’s a lot of star power in a friend group and it has Chicago fans confident in future success for their teams.
But they have bigger plans as Crow-Armstrong recently said.

With the Cubs in a playoff push, every series matters here down the stretch. Following a big game on Monday in a win over the Atlanta Braves, Crow-Armstrong was asked about his friendship with Williams.
“It’s cool that people appreciate us being friends,” Crow-Armstrong said. “That’s where it all really stems from. We’ve definitely talked about what we want to build here together. That all stems from genuine appreciation of each other’s abilites and craft and how we make stuff happen. It’s agreed upon by all of us that we want to give people something to look forward to.”

Crow-Armstrong and Williams were spotted supporting Bedard back in January, sitting on the glass for a Blackhawks game. Recently, it was PCA who received the support as Williams, Wilson, Buzelis and Cole Bennett sat behind the Cubs dugout. They celebrated as PCA hit a big home run in the game.
Right now, it feels like a very cool era of Chicago Sports with young stars. Let’s hope they can turn that into some championships for the city.
