Caitlin Clark drew strong reactions when she called out a reporter for a question about her friendship with her Team USA teammate, Atlanta Dream forward Angel Reese. Many reacted to the viral clip of the Indiana Fever guard, and Kylie Kelce also shared her take about it.
Clark and Reese have been pitted as rivals since their collegiate careers. However, they showed the basketball world that they can thrive while playing alongside each other at the FIBA World Cup. The duo played key roles for the national team, helping it win its fifth consecutive world championship.
They both came off the bench in all six games but were a big part of Kara Lawson’s rotation. Clark showcased her elite court vision and outside shooting, while Reese flexed her dominant inside presence.

Kylie Kelce sent a strong message of support to Caitlin Clark on the latest episode of her “Not Gonna Lie” podcast. She first congratulated Team USA for its success.
“Congrats to Team USA Basketball for their fifth straight FIBA World Cup championship. Wow. Rhe locker room champagne clips are top tier, but I want to shout out this one of Caitlin Clark channeling some FAFO energy.
Kylie Kelce congratulated team USA and shouted out Caitlin for putting that obnoxious “journalist” in their place. But Kylie I’m not sure you’ll ever hear CC say suck my a$$

Kelce played the clip before saying that she liked the three-time All-Star’s reaction to the reporter’s question.
“Shut it down. I love that. Why do people have to pit women against each other?” Kelce said, “Don’t do that. As Caitlin Clark said, don’t do that. Next time we have a clip of pitting women against each other, we’re going to get the audio of Caitlin Clark and we’re going to put it in there and we’re going to go, ‘Don’t do that.’ I love it. The only way to make that better is if she said, Suck my a**. But that’s just personal preference.
“Maybe I’ll tell him to suck my a**. She can be like, ‘Don’t do that,’ and I’ll be like, ‘Suck my a**. If you ever need backup, Caitlin, you let me know, I got you. Paige Bueckers on the show actually told us something similar about the media always pitting her against Caitlin. Cut that out. Don’t do that. Suck my a**.”
Clark will return to action with the Fever on Friday against the Toronto Tempo. They have four regular-season games remaining and every win is crucial for playoff positioning. The team is currently fifth with a 26-14 record but has a chance to finish as high as No. 2.
