Fans continue to closely monitor Caitlin Clark’s on and off-court activities.. The upcoming release of the Indiana Fever star’s first signature shoes is one of the most anticipated in recent history. The team reacted to her big reveal on Thursday.
She recently won a gold medal with Team USA at the FIBA World Cup in Berlin. Clark started the tournament with a historic performance against China. The 24-year-old recorded 14 points and 11, which is the most for any USA player at the World Cup in 28 years. She had two subpar games, but played a significant role in the gold medal game. Clark produced 12 points and three rebounds, helping the national team defeat France 97-79.

Indiana posted photos of Clark wearing a new colorway of her Nike Caitlin 1s on Instagram on Thursday. The three-time All-Star wore the triple black silhouette during practice, and the team reacted in the caption.
“CC in the new triple black colorway

,” the team wrote.
The Nike Caitlin 1s will be released on Oct. 1, but she already gifted her teammates with a pair each recently. She debuted the Racer Blues in June and has since showed off different colorways during WNBA and FIBA World Cup games.
Clark and the Fever will return to action on Friday. They will visit the Toronto Tempo at Coca-Cola Coliseum to play the first of their four remaining games. A two-game homestand follows at Gainbridge Fieldhouse when they host the Washington Mystics and Minnesota Lynx. Their final regular-season game is on Sept. 24 at Target Center versus the Lynx.
Indiana is currently fifth in the standings with a 26-14 record and has clinched a playoff berth. However, the seedings have yet to be finalized. The team can finish as high as No. 2 or as low as No. 8.
