It’s been a brutal day so far if you’re a Chicago Bears fan.

The Bears have struggled mightily on offense thus far in Week 2, as they trail 6-3 in the fourth quarter.

More notably, Bears QB Caleb Williams left the game after appearing to suffer a non-contact injury. The status of Williams is currently unknown, but the injury itself didn’t look promising. He was carted off the field with what looked like a hamstring injury.

So far today, Williams is 15-of-26 for 138 yards and one interception. The Minnesota Vikings defense has held this high-powered Bears offense in check, even on the road.

The Bears defense has looked stout today, a lot better than their Week 1 performance in Charlotte. However, with Williams getting hurt, all attention will now turn to the third-year QB from USC.

After such a promising Week 1 performance, the vibe has certainly shifted in the wrong way if you’re a fan of the Bears.

If Caleb Williams is seriously injured, the season will be in jeopardy

Caleb Williams had a spectacular Week 1 performance, arguably the best of his young career.

With him leaving in Week 2, Bears fans will be holding their breath as the night goes on. The result of this NFC North matchup suddenly means nothing, as all eyes and ears will be on Williams’ status.

Caleb looked very emotional after leaving the field, but he did hold his thumb up as he exited.

The injury itself has yet to be known, but it seems like a hamstring. The wet grass was likely a factor in this injury, as the field was wet the entire game. A scary sight for everyone involved.

The non-contact aspect of it is seriously concerning. Tyson Bagent has entered in his place, as he will try to lead the Bears to their second straight win. It won’t be easy, as the Vikings’ defense has looked great all day.
