WNBA reacts to what Angel Reese did after Atlanta Dream game

Angel Reese is amid a historic season. The Atlanta Dream star forward recorded her 32nd double-double on Monday and became the first player in league history to reach the 500-rebound mark in a single campaign two days earlier. She also spent time greeting fans and posing for pictures with celebrities after their win over the New York Liberty, which the WNBA reacted to.

Reese finished with 18 points, 10 rebounds and two assists in the 95-84 victory. Jordin Canada also had strong performance, recording 19 points, three rebounds and nine assists. It was the team’s fourth consecutive win and improved their record to 29-14 with one game left on the schedule.

The three-time All-Star already set new marks for most rebounds in a season and a game earlier this season. However, she made it clear that winning championships is at the top of her list.

WNBA posts video of Angel Reese interacting with fans

The WNBA uploaded a postgame video of Reese on X. It showed her mingling with celebrities like Queen Latifah and Syracuse guard Kiyan Anthony, among others. They watched courtside, and Reese also talked to a young fan.

Reese and the Dream will play their last regular-season game on Wednesday. It’s also against the Liberty at Barclays Center, with a top-four seed on the line. A win will secure homecourt advantage for them at least for the first round of the playoffs.

Atlanta will continue to rely heavily on the LSU product in the postseason. The team qualified for the playoffs last year but was eliminated in the first round by the Indiana Fever. However, the Dream did not have Reese then and she has provided them with a strong inside presence since arriving. Their trade for her in April from the Chicago Sky is already paying huge dividends.
