Sophie Cunningham and the Indiana Fever have a lot to be happy about recently. They are on a five-game winning streak and have moved to third place in the standings. She and her teammates made sure to unwind a bit on Tuesday.
Cunningham bounced back from two straight disappointing performances. She scored 13 points on 3-of-3 shooting from beyond the arc, along with two rebounds and two assists in the 101-95 win over the Toronto Tempo. The veteran guard totaled just eight points in the Fever’s previous two matchups.
The strong outing could start a hot streak for Cunningham. Indiana will continue to rely on her contributions off the bench as it aims to finish the regular season strong.

Indiana Fever: Sophie Cunningham spends time with teammates off the court
Myisha Hines-Allen posted a video on her Instagram story on Thursday. It featured her with Cunningham and other teammates on a night out.
Joining them were Lexie Hull, Aliyah Boston and Makayla Timpson, among others. Hines-Allen added an overlay text that read “Just because…”
Their recent off court activity could be just what they need to continue their dominant ways. Cunningham and Co. have won 10 of their last 12 games and have eight games left on their schedule. They lead the Las Vegas Aces by just half-a-game for a top three seed.
The Fever will play their next game on Thursday against the Dallas Wings. They last met on Friday, with Indiana winning 98-87 behind Caitlin Clark’s 29-point, 10-assist double-double. Kelsey Mitchell supported her with 23 points, while Boston chipped in 16 points and 10 rebounds. Cunningham failed to make a big impact, registering five points and one rebound.
Thursday’s big matchup will be played at American Airlines Center. Tipoff is set at 8 p.m. ET, and Amazon Prime will air the game live.
