The Chicago Bears’ Week 7 game against the New England Patriots was a successful one. They won their second consecutive game, performing admirably in front of their fans and families at Soldier Field. The team posted a video of Luther Burden III enjoying a pregame moment with his father, which Caleb Williams reacted to.

The star quarterback completed 22-of-33 passes for 308 yards, two touchdowns and zero turnovers in the 30-24 victory. It was his second consecutive game with 300-plus yards after recording 305 in Week 6 along with one touchdown. Williams also proved again that he has fully recovered from the hamstring injury he sustained in Week 2 versus the Minnesota Vikings.

Burden, on the other hand, registered four catches for 130 yards, one touchdown and 92 yards after catch. He had the most yardage among all receivers.

Burden showed excitement after seeing his father on the sideline. They shared a hug after the wide receiver found him as he promised to be there to watch his son play live. The moment was captured on camera and the Bears uploaded it on Instagram, with Williams reposting it without a caption on his story.

“Luther was too excited to see his pops,” the team wrote.

It was a heartwarming moment that inspired Burden’s strong performance. Chicago improved to 5-2 for the season, while New England dropped to 4-3.

The Bears will return to action on Monday in another primetime matchup. They will visit the defending Super Bowl champions, the Seattle Seahawks, at Lumen Field. It’s a big test for Williams, Burden and Co. as their opponents are 3-1 so far this season at home. The defense will also have their hands full as Sam Darnold will look to maximize his weapons, including star wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba. ESPN will air the game live starting at 8:15 p.m. ET.
