Angel Reese continues to be trolled after the Atlanta Dream’s 68-63 Game 7 loss on Saturday. The Atlanta Dream star delivered a subpar performance in three WNBA Finals games and critics have targeted her for it, especially after her gesture in Game 3. Valkyries center Aminata Gueye also took a jab at her on social media.

The rookie only played one game in the regular season but appeared in six in the playoffs. She also had the opportunity to defend Reese in the finals, where she saw action in two games. Gueye only played limited minutes but made her mark with six points, three rebounds and one block in Game 3.

Meanwhile, the Dream took a 2-1 series lead and appeared to be in full control. However, they lost three of the last four games, with Reese recording just eight points along with 12 rebounds and two blocks on Saturday. She shot 3-of-7 from the field and finished as a -9 on the night.

Valkyries rookie Aminata Gueye trolls Angel Reese

Gueye posted five photos on Instagram. It featured her holding the championship trophy and celebrating with her teammates. She also included a snap of a “too small” gesture on the last slide and poked fun at the moment in her caption.

“THANK YOU @valkyries , I’M GRATEFUL FOR LIFE .💜 ps : last slide is how much i care about ALL the sh*t ppl been talking . #bumwithaRING 😘,” Gueye wrote.

It’s unclear if the Valkyries will bring her back next season. However, she made a strong impression in Game 3 and may have earned another chance to prove her worth. Gueye is only 24 years old and stands 6-foot-3. She is a natural center but can also play at the four spot. Her versatility is a valuable asset and Natalie Nakase and her coaching staff could decide to leave Gueye on the roster in 2027.
