Caitlin Clark led the charge for the Indiana Fever on Monday night as they snapped their two-game losing streak.
After suffering back-to-back defeats to Angel Reese and the Atlanta Dream, the Fever were in dire need of a win. They faced the Phoenix Mercury in a home game at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, and Clark made sure Indiana would come out on top.
The two-time WNBA All-Star led all scorers with 24 points on 8-of-17 shooting. She also registered three rebounds and nine assists in 29 minutes of action. Clark struggled with her shot from deep, though, going just 3-for-10 from three-point territory.
The Fever got the much-needed win, 86-77.

It wasn’t exactly a mind-blowing performance from Clark on Monday night. However, she did just enough to rewrite the WNBA history books once again.
The Fever took to social media shortly after the win to announce Clark’s latest career milestone.
“Caitlin Clark’s sixth-straight game with 20+ points & 5+ assists is the longest streak in @WNBA history

Clark has been on a tear for the Fever of late, and she has the numbers to prove it.
Her most outstanding performance during this stretch came against the Chicago Sky on June 11, when she dropped a 32-point, 10-assist double-double. The former Iowa Hawkeyes star also erupted for 21 points and 14 assists on Tuesday against the Toronto Tempo.
The Fever have gone 4-2 during Clark’s hot streak. They are now 9-7 on the season after Monday’s win.
Indiana and Phoenix will go at it again on Wednesday. The Fever will host the rematch again at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
