The 2026 NBA Draft is officially in the books and the Chicago Bulls came away with two first-round picks. Chicago selected Caleb Wilson at No. 4 overall and then Dailyn Swain at No. 15, hoping the two will be a part of their core for the long term.
A new era being ushered in under Bryson Graham, and the Bulls are hoping to speed up this rebuild. With Wilson and Swain, that could happen if both turn out to be good from the start. While the excitement is still fresh from the draft just a few days ago, it will be a bit before we see the new rookies on the court.
Chicago will participate in the NBA Summer League in early July, giving us our first look at both Wilson and Swain. But for Wilson, he will see a familiar foe when he hits the court for the first time.

The full NBA Summer League schedule is still being released but right away there’s a matchup to circle. Per ESPN’s schedule, the Bulls and Memphis Grizzlies will meet on July 10th. That’s likely the first Summer League game in Vegas, marking Wilson against No. 3 pick Cameron Boozer.
Wilson and Boozer met just one time in college and it was a big one as UNC beat Duke in Chapel Hill back in February. For Wilson, he scored 23 points on 8-of-10 shooting and four rebounds. Boozer had 24 points on 10-of-11 shooting and 11 rebounds in the loss.
In the second matchup, Wilson was hurt so he didn’t play, while Boozer led Duke to a revenge win.
The full Summer League schedule will be released soon but this should be a matchup that basketball fans circle.
