Ben Johnson and the Chicago Bears enjoyed a successful 2025 season. They entered the campaign with many doubting if they could reach the playoffs. The team more than proved those doubters wrong, winning the NFC North and reaching the Divisional Round.
The first-year head coach demonstrated that he is capable of leading the franchise to greater heights. His leadership also brought out the best in his players, particularly Caleb Williams. The quarterback impressed throughout the season and stood out by staying composed under pressure.
However, matching or surpassing their achievements from last year won’t be easy. Johnson and Co. face the toughest schedule in the NFL and will play seven primetime games.

Johnson issued a stern warning to his team. He stressed that there’s no substitute for hard work and that he is excited to see how the players respond to the tough schedule.
“You know, you got to pay a price if you want to have success in this league,” Johnson said, via Bears Wire. “I don’t think there’s any way you can cut corners and expect to win on Sundays. Our type of guys, they embrace it, they want it. So, I’m looking forward to it.”
The Bears completed several fourth-quarter comebacks in 2025. Williams shone the brightest with his efficiency and showed a lot of maturity on the field. He will be relied upon heavily again next season to guide the team to even greater heights.
Chicago’s front office made significant moves this offseason. It brought in a mix of veterans and rookies to surround Williams with more talent and address positional needs.
The team will reconvene in late July for training camp, and its regular season starts on Sept. 13. The Bears will travel to Bank of America Stadium to face Bryce Young and the Carolina Panthers.
