Kate Martin had six words for Caitlin Clark on Sunday

Caitlin Clark recently played back-to-back games for the first time since her rookie year. The 24-year-old, who recently missed time due to a back injury, looked perfectly fine over the Indiana Fever’s two games over the weekend.

Clark went off on Friday night with a historic 45-point explosion as the Fever defeated the Seattle Storm, 110-107. She was back on the floor after 24 hours, helping lead Indiana to a 108-88 blowout victory over the New York Liberty on Saturday.

To celebrate, Clark took to social media on Sunday to share some of her favorite snaps from the two games.

“home dubs with the girls❤️‍🔥” she captioned her Instagram post.

Kate Martin reacts to Caitlin Clark’s Instagram post

Clark’s latest post drew all sorts of reactions from fans and friends alike. This included one from former Iowa Hawkeyes teammate and close friend Kate Martin, who now plies her trade with the Los Angeles Sparks.

“New shoes been treating you nice,” Martin wrote.

The Sparks guard was referring to Clark’s new and unreleased Nike signature shoe, the Cailtin 1s. On Saturday against New York, Clark debuted the latest purple colorway of her highly anticipated sneaker.

The shoe is set to drop on Oct. 1. It would not be a surprise if Martin gets her own pair and wears it to games.

Clark and Martin played four seasons together during their time at Iowa. Apart form their chemistry on the court, the pair also formed a close bond that has cotninued to flourish now that their both in the WNBA.
