Fans continue to anticipate the release of Caitlin Clark’s first signature shoes. The release is set for Oct. 1, and the Indiana Fever superstar has been flexing different colorways of the Nike Caitlin 1s, including on Thursday during practice.

Indiana is preparing for its matchup with the Dallas Wings on Friday at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. The team aims to win its third consecutive game following victories over the Chicago Sky and New York Liberty.

Clark is on a hot streak, recording double-doubles in four of the last five games. She also ranks third among guards in league history with the most 20-plus point, 10-plus assist games. This season alone, the 24-year-old already has 10 double-doubles with still 11 regular-season games left on the schedule.

Fans react to Caitlin Clark’s new signature shoe colorway

The three-time All-Star turned heads during practice. She wore a new silhouette of the Nike Caitlin 1s and teased another upcoming release. The pair showcases yellow and black, a tribute to the Iowa Hawkeyes. It features a yellow upper crafted with a rippled pattern that gradients into black near the bottom and midsole.

Fans dropped their reactions in the comments section.

“Super siiiick Caitlin 1s.  I buy these over Air Jordan’s any day of the week!!  🤙🏻💛💛💛,” one fan said.

“These gonna sellout so fast 😭,” a comment read.

“I think  @caitlinclark22 ‘s shoe and colorways are some of the best @Nike has ever made. Even though I’m and Indiana Hoosier, I love the @IowaWBB color. CC maybe a Cream and Crimson colorway? One can dream,” one user wrote.

“Those will sell out in about 15 seconds, mostly to zip codes beginning with “5,” posted another.

“Oh dear. Those are going to sell out in minutes,” another fan commented.

“I can only assume the Iowa WBB team will all have a pair soon!” a reaction read.

Clark signed with Nike in 2022, and many believe she should’ve had her own line sooner. However, the wait has made even more fans interested in securing a pair, and the first wave will likely sell out quickly.
