Chicago Bears running back D’Andre Swift had a great bounce back season in 2025. Swift rushed for a career high 1,087 yards and 9 touchdowns. The running back duo of Swift and Kyle Monangai was a major factor to Chicago’s success last year.

It looks like there’s no stopping Swift right now. The Bears’ starting running back has reportedly been in the midst of a “very strong camp”.
On Tuesday’s scrimmage, Swift reportedly “dominated” in short yardage and also ran for a 62-yard touchdown.
When asked by the media, Bears head coach Ben Johnson had nothing but great things to say about the star running back.

According to Nicolas Moreano, Johnson is very pleased with how Swift has looked in camp.
The Bears’ head coach also had strong praise for the right side of the starting offensive line. Johnson stated that the team is “continuing to pick up where they left off”.

With Joe Thuney and Darnell Wright holding the fort down on the right side, expect the Bears’ run game to continue to be explosive in 2026.
