New Trailer for ‘The Yellow Tie’ with Ben Schnetzer & John Malkovich

Never!” 🎵 Icon Film UK has revealed an official UK trailer for a film titled The Yellow Tie, telling the story of Romanian composer Sergiu Celibidache. This music biopic is about the life and times of Celibidache, who was in Berlin during World War II studying at a university there while the war was ongoing, afterwards becoming the youngest conductor ever to work for the Berlin Philharmonic. In the film, he is played by both Ben Schnetzer and John Malkovich, each portraying him at different times of his long life. The extraordinary life of Sergiu Celibidache – from his childhood in Romania, to his exile in pursuit of his career in music, his struggle for survival in wartime Germany and his rise, fall and rise again, in an unimaginable life journey. Directed by Sergiu’s son, Serge Ioan Celibidache, this uniquely personal tale of family, duty & dreams stars a superb cast including Schnetzer & John Malkovich, with Sean Bean, Miranda Richardson, Kate Phillips, Anton Lesser, Ewan Horrocks, and Alma Boiangiu.
