First Trailer for ‘R.L. Stine’s Pumpkinhead 2’ Horror Sequel from Tubi

“I can end the curse… the magic is strongest on the Harvest Moon.” Tubi has revealed the official trailer for their upcoming sequel R.L. Stine’s Pumpkinhead 2, ready for release this October as one of their 2026 “Terror on Tubi” Halloween horror season offerings. This is a direct sequel and follow-up to last year’s hit horror comedy film R.L. Stine’s Pumpkinhead made for kids to watch (it’s actually pretty dang good). When a new Pumpkinhead curse awakens in Redhaven, Sam & Becka must stop it before it claims the entire town. Writer & director Jem Garrard is back again, featuring horror icon Cassandra “Elvira” Peterson playing a witch named Cassandra, who may be key to stopping the curse. The cast includes Bean Reid, Adeline Lo, Matty Finochio, Sebastian Billingsley-Rodriguez, Bob Frazer, Seth Isaac Johnson, Kendra Anderson. As cheesy as these movies are, they’re some of the only good new horror movies made for kids that are also clever and scary enough to be entertaining. Way better than Five Nights at Freddy’s.
