Caitlin Clark turned heads again on Wednesday at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. However, it was not for an on-court performance but for being in attendance for the Indiana Pacers-Philadelphia 76ers game. The Indiana Fever star also made a LeBron James move after the matchup.
She is already deep in the offseason as the Fever were eliminated in the first round. They faced the Las Vegas Aces and pushed the series to a deciding Game 3 on Oct. 1. Clark and Co. lost 94-83 at Michelob ULTRA Arena and were sent home.
The 24-year-old enjoyed arguably her best WNBA season. She set new league records and earned her third straight All-Star nod. Clark also suited up for Team USA at the FIBA Women’s World Cup in Berlin. She played a key role in helping the national team secure its fifth consecutive world championship.

Clark spent a few minutes chatting with James. They have been friendly in the recent years, sharing mutual respect as stars of the respective leagues. The 76ers posted photos of them on social media with a simple caption.
“just a couple of hoopers.

James and Philadelphia defeated Indiana 114-109 to improve to 4-1 for the season, The home team, on the other hand, dropped to 2-3.
Meanwhile, Clark has vowed to be more involved with the Fever’s offseason moves. The front office faces big decisions as some of their key players will enter unrestricted free agency.
The 2024 No. 1 pick also plans to put in more work at the gym to further improve her game to potentially lead her team to a title. Indiana finished the regular season with a 28-16 record and clinched the No. 6 seed. However, they did not own homecourt advantage in the first round, which played a big role on their elimination.
